Juneteenth Festival

Here are a couple of the things I sold at the festival. Most of them are under my products page.

Ella Blast

This is an 8×11 print of an actual art piece that was collage, acrylic, and stitched. This is a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald. I think of her voice being strong enough to blast into space for everyone to enjoy.

$15.00

Leaf Hat Lady Card

This is a digital sketch printed on a card. The card is 4×6. It comes with an envelope.

$5.00

I learned a lot from this event. You need to keep cash whether you want it or not. Always carry business cards. Also, set up a clear inventory sheet to keep track of sales. Get a better organizing way to display your items. Have a separate storage container for your items. A co-artist suggestion, “freeze a bottle of water the night before”, I thought that was helpful too. Then remember that everyone has their own selling style.

I am an older woman inspired to not give up on life and to strive in everything I do to achieve my goals. I want a business to run from home. Helping the homeless community in Denver is important to me as well. I like creating videos and blogging about experiences, new information, and lessons learned. I am motivated to put information on the web hoping it will help others. I have two beautiful girls that are grown now and I hope they will be the women I know that is within them. I love technology and the outdoors. I am working on improving my health to live as long as possible. Life is worth living and living to the fullest.
