Think!

Sometimes I don’t think about what I’m about to say and then OOOOPPPsss, I have stuck my foot in my mouth. Here is a quote from someone on Twitter:

Think your thoughts through because the decisions you make… make you.

I have had some confusing thoughts and emotions lately so I am going to be a hermit for awhile and iron them out. I need to clean up my thought process, and my house, to get myself back on track.

You might start to notice some gameplay videos from me, my friends, and fellow gamers. I decided that while I am being a hermit I will learn how to blog and play some video games to escape life or have fun.

No one said life is easy or will show you how to live from your previous experiences. I am taking this one step at a time. I am trying to think before I speak. I will also work on thinking before I write, hopefully, the writing class I am taking will help with that.

This is a pretty short blog, but it is to the point. Think before you start expressing yourself because it may change things.

ADG Short And Simple Review: Fallout 4

I love this gameplay. This game keeps you watching and wanting to play yourself. His perspective shows that everyone can play the game, but you must be a true gamer. The graphics are good and it is easy to have plenty of missions to accomplish. I will be posting more of his game plays and reviews on my blog.

This is one of the people I follow, because of his commentary and gameplay. I have been following him for awhile and enjoy watching the game. I am a YouTuber myself, but my gameplay is limited to a few games I try. I need someone to show me a way to get myself out there and feel comfortable. I am glad I was able to find him to set an example for me. This is fun. I will watch more of the walkthroughs.

Who Are You Lying To?

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Truth Serum.”

Who Could Use Some Truth Serum?

I have realized some time ago that everyone lies. The problem is some people don’t really know who they are lying to. I think lying to someone about things you are afraid of them knowing is more lying to yourself about how confident you are about it.

Jessup

He thinks that he is awesome and that everyone should just trust everything he says. Although, plenty of things he says is for his own purpose not for the people seeking his advice. He also thinks he understands how people subject to a different class are living a more fulfilling life because they aren’t experiencing the pleasure of having everything they want at the snap of their fingers. It is hard to understand the experience of a class on an economic scale through the eyes of someone else. To walk in someone else’s shoes, you must also change your way of thinking too!

Amos

He thinks that if you say something like people he has experienced in the past you must be lying too. After you have said something to him, he will ask questions that insinuate you are lying and then he will say he isn’t accusing you just asking to better understand the situation. Finally, he will start getting upset whenever the subject is talked about and give sarcastic comments reflecting his disbelief. He will never directly ask if you are lying or if this is true, he will keep the up for years to come. Is he creating a lie to have animosity towards?  Would he love to use this “Truth Serum”?

My thing is that I believe I lie not intentionally because I am afraid to hurt people’s feelings. I know that my feelings should be considered in these circumstances. I am working on not ignoring my feelings when talking to people about myself or the things I do. I do want to hurt anyone else’s feeling, but I must be true to myself. We have an obligation to respect ourselves by not changing who we are to satisfy other people’s thoughts on what we do. Let’s start with asking ourselves, is this the truth or is this what someone else wants to hear.

Bitcoin

bitcoin wallets

What is Bitcoin?

My understanding is that this is a form of currency not connected to banks and you don’t need credit for it. You get a wallet for the bitcoin and choose a secure place for the wallet. You can use your tablet, computer, or smartphone. All you do is send it from peer to peer.

Which Wallet to Use?

I went to Bitcoin and found there are lots to wallets to choose from. I think I have here of one of them, but this system is new to me. I want to participate in this system to get money, but you need to trust the company you get the wallet from. You need to know details of how long they have been working and if there have been any issues.

Which Device?

I use my desktop a lot. I have lost my laptop so I can’t use that. I do have a couple of smartphones. My problem with using my smartphone is that I have lent it out several times. I would have to change my swipe code and other security measures. It probably is time to do that anyway.

Conclusion

There is a lot of information to learn about this new system for currency. I need to find out which wallet, what device to use, and decide whether to use this for my business or not. I am new to this, hopefully, I can find someone that knows more about this.

Rainy November

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Singin’ in the Rain.”

As I sit here listening to the rain, I think about going out for a little while. I have a rough day with people refusing to pay me my money and other people pretending that they have my back. I have been blogging most of the day too! I want to enjoy one of mother nature’s pure experience.

I sit and think about Noah’s story. It rained over a month and I am sure it was damp and humid. Everyone stuck together for such a long time and getting to know each other well. I am sure the smells were bad too. How can someone live with that much rain and not feel sad because they can go walking around? Being able to walk or sing in the rain would be nice.

I have seen the movie before. I know on the cartoon “Robots” they did a similar song. I know plenty of people use the rain to make them happy and feel like singing. I don’t like water myself, but I think I should get out the house anyway. The rain seems better in my apartment because I am at the top of the building and I can hear it pretty good.

Blogging on the go!

Crowded in Transit station

I plan to take a trip to see my family for the holidays I decided to take the bus and I arrived at this station excited. I decided while waiting for the bus to blog about what was happening with my business. I talked about how much I had been selling and how the homeless benefits from this. I mentioned what my next plan was and asked for comments on it from my followers. I post it then sit back to watch everyone around me.

This place is full of people going places, some for business and some for pleasure. I suddenly realize that I could go anywhere. I decided to write a list of places I would like to go for pleasure. Once the list was written, I realize that there was more to write about. I could tell a story on my blog about when I traveled on my honeymoon. This place was noisy but seem to help with my writing.

When it was time to get on the bus I looked back and thought to myself that I should try to write more often when I have down time. I could be building a story for a book or posting on a blog. Most importantly, writing can free your mind in any place you are located at. This station can be an inspiration to lots of people.

Issues

Some people have multiple issues that they should consider dangerous to people around them. Most people seek help for some help to put them on a more balanced scale. I have quite a few issues myself. I see a Psychiatrist, counselor, and use other therapeutic sources to help. All that is needed from the people is to first recognize them issues and then start a plan of action.

I know this one guy that has six to eight issues. I believe most of them started from a rough childhood. Unfortunately, it does change that he has them. He loves to hold grudges. He is holding a grudge against his mother from 35 years ago about how she made a promise to give him something for straight A grades. He has never forgiven her. Now it causes a problem every time anyone says they are going to do something and it does happen, even if it doesn’t have anything to do with him or his life. Actually, that can be the cause for most of his other issues like anger and alcoholism. If he would work on one at a time he may be able to feel better about his life.

Today, in the age of technology, we can get help from blogs, vlogs, skype, podcasts, webinars, chat, and much more resources. There isn’t any reason to allow yourself to be depressed or using substance abuse as a device in your life. I think we should all consider the happiness we are missing and work on increasing it.

Why does Chacalit write?

I write because it frees up my mind. I have been writing for quite some time but didn’t really want anyone to read it. I do spend lots of time talking on the phone, but writing is a better way to let you thoughts flow. I spend some lonely nights talking about the things that happen to me but when I write about it I get more words out. I have written on blogs about my experience as a homeless person, but it was the same as now. I realize now I could have made my blog more focused.

I have several blogs. I have a blog about an addiction. I used to have a blog about homelessness but I am no long homeless so I do know how to remedy that yet. I have a blog about my crazy adventures and a separate one for other people’s crazy things. I have this one that I had not decided what to do with it, but now I can use it for my classes. I probably should condense these blogs, but some are on separate sites.

My new tool I use to help me with my writing is this thing I use on my browser that is called Grammarly and it helps me with grammar. There is an email they send out (like newsletter) that gives me a breakdown of how many words I wrote, errors, and vocabulary. It gets me excited to write more the next week.

I want to become a real writer but and an English teacher told me if I don’t write I can’t become a writer, so I started blogging. I like the blogging because it seems so informal. I would love to write my own book someday. Experiencing issues can be troublesome but writing about it can be therapeutic. I found that if I share it with the world it can be inspiring. Now I just get my voice heard and people are welcome to visit.
