Plans

My plan for my life is to have a house, to have my own business, and be happy helping others. The house would have two bedrooms, a basement, front yard, and back yard. My business could be selling my home-made products, technology tutoring, or content creator. I love helping people with problems, issues, or relationships. My plans haven’t worked as planned.

My House

I wanted a two bedroom for guests and myself.I would turn the living room into a partial office. Nowadays you don’t need a full office to function a full-time business. The basement would be the woman cave. I would have chairs that can be used for the theater or just video games. I might even have a pool table. The front yard I would have minimum grass but plenty of room for some type of shrubbery. The back yard would have a small garden, a sectioned area for the dog. In fact, I would have a customed built doghouse so the dog can be outside year round.of, course if it gets too cold I would have a spot in the garage for him because I hate hair all over the place. I would always decorate during the holidays.

I haven’t reached a conceivable income to buy a house. I may be able to get a two bedroom townhouse or condo. I keep forgetting which one has no yard. I could have the guest room and partial office. I can still decorate with wreaths on the holidays. I can get this small home if I want to by working really hard.

My Business

I tried lots of different business ventures. I have tried selling Avon several times. I think it won’t be a part of the future like Tupperware, which I did too. I have done Amway and some others like that.I keep the Avon for me and my family to reorder  products we like. I have found out these types don’t work towards my plan.

I am trying content creation right now doing videos and blogging. The problem I am having is that you have to work on a schedule so that your content is consistent. I basically post about two to three videos a month when I should at least post at least once a week. I just started this blogging thing, but I haven’t quite figured out the right kind of content. I know most content creators do both.

I have had my sewing machine for a couple of years but haven’t really sewed anything. I love headbands. I wear them all the time and would like to create my own for sell. Also, I would like to redesign so clothing I get that is donated. I have the time to make plenty of things that I could give to people in need. I can get the sewing going by doing small projects, like headbands, then work my way up to larger items. I would love some suggestions.

Technology is really fun and exciting to me. People usually call me if they need help with their phone or computer. I have thought of consulting on a regular basis with clients that need continuous help. I have set up tutoring for free with neighbors, but they tend to take up hours at a time. I also create invoices and do research for the neighbors, of course, for free, but I thought of offering that as a service too. I love technology so much that I watch a three-hour radio show to learn more about it. I would love to do something with this.

Helping

There was a time in my life when I did a lot of relationship counseling. My friends would as advice from me. Once it was given, they would see the results and keep coming back. I set up a relationship blog, but I had no takers. I also give advice on relaxation and stress relief. I am not the expert, but I usually don’t stress or get mad. I have my technology as number one, next is Disney movies (they usually help),  if that doesn’t work, I will go somewhere that is calming. The idea is to clear your mind so that you can revisit the issues separately later.

Being homeless previously, I know there are a lot of people out there that don’t get the help they need. When I was going to school, I had to write an argument essay. It was about a problem with people getting additional assistance and a way to deliver it. My solution was a website that workers, clients, and volunteers could access and submit information. I haven’t created it because I need assistance combining the website with data. I had a resource page on one my websites, but that would not solve the problem. I know there are issues all over the country, but I would like to start small scale.

Resources

I believe I can find a resource online to walk me through how to set up a plan for each individual thought. I have looked into similar websites and site to help with creating a website for my city. It is a project by itself. As for a business, once I have made a good decision on which one I feel I can do for the rest of my life, I have an application for it. I have looked into the small home because I have been living in the for a few years and it is just starting to feel like home. Also, I need the income to start piling up first.

Finding Magic

I have been watching this wonderful show called, “The Librarians” on TNT. It is about three runner-up candidates for the librarian position who work with a kernel from the military on quests.  This is the current Librarian and a caretaker also. The three librarians work with the guardian to form a group seeking out artifacts with magic to lock away in the library.

This is mostly about four experts in mathematics/science, thievery/technology, hi IQ/loves art, and military/leader. The caretaker has the long life issue so he is helpful in a jam. Basically, nerds and geeks unite to find magic in the world the lock up to prevent world destruction. I love this show.

Savind the World One Story at a Time

Season one the library disappeared  so the Librarian needed to find it. Meanwhile, the guardian (who protects the librarian) had to get the librarian candidates that were dead to come help with the search for magic. This was a great season.

I am a nerd/geek, so the magic, art history, technology, and the karate fights leave me in awe. There is a bit of comedy included too. This is like a video game gone wrong. There is always some history thing that is in a book they have to research, which can be brought from the library. This is a show that makes my dreams come true.

There is a scene where their enemy cuts the fabric of time and there are alternate realities, which all nerds like. Everyone in the alternate realities become the Librarian but is failing because the guardian had already died. In reality, she was dying in the original scene where the fabric was cut and therefore, cause her to be dead in all the other realities. This was so intense.

There is science, mathematics, history, and technology. With all of those together geeks are proud too. I am a lover of libraries, but I don’t read. This show makes me want to pick up one of the books in this story and start reading to learn the difference in the stories I know and the written versions. I can expand on my science, mathematics, and history knowledge. I already focus on technology daily, it just makes me notice details they are putting in the show.

This show can teach students about things they have not experienced yet because they were afraid of being called a nerd or geek. It’s okay to expand your mind in science, to learn more about history, and use technology to do so. I have gotten a great experience from this show and it isn’t over. I can keep watching for more artifacts from the past to find out where there really came from and what books to read.

Paris Support: My Contribution

A Visit To Remember

I may not have visited recently, but the visit to Paris was one that I won’t forget. I went on a honeymoon years ago to Paris and London. Paris was my favorite of the trip. I love the pastry shops. I felt like a kid a candy store.

French Pasty

Forgive me of my blurry pictures but this next was right after we arrived in Paris. We had drinks with our guide at the hotel and I was a bit tipsy when I took this picture of Notre Dame.

Notre Dame

I have a few more pictures of my Paris trip, but we did celebrate quite often so I do if  I should post more. I left with a bottle of raspberry liqueur which was so good it lasted a year after we left. I actually went to the Eiffel Tower in the daytime and climbed some steps. I think I eat a cafeteria there. This happened back in 2003 so forgive of the fuzzy details.

Iffle tower

This next picture is of the original Statue of Liberty. Ours was a gift from Paris. I thought that this may be important to everyone.

Statue of Liberty

I posted this blog to show I much I enjoyed my trip and would go again even if there were terrorists. I also visited the Louvre, Versailles, and Avenue des Champs-Élysées. I have a some more pictures, but I thought this should be about how Paris has proven they are an important part of my life.

There is one more thing I would like to mention. I remember as a child in my school that it was required for all students the watch this movie called. “The Red Ballon“. This to me is something Americans posted in children’s heads to remind them the rest of their lives of filmmaking.

On the Porch

Thank you for the money,

I remembered one day in my homeless life, I needed somewhere to sleep for the night. My boyfriend and I had got in a fight after the shelters were done accepting people. I was walking around with my laptop (my escape from life) in my rolling backpack with added blankets stuffed in tight. On the handle was a thrift store sleeping bag the was small enough to wrap on it. In my other backpack, I had the mummy bag of ten degrees so that I could double up for this cold winter night.

I had previously found this porch in front of a business that was made of tile, It sat across from a pizza place that have pool tables and a bar. There were plenty of people walking up and down the street, but this was the outskirts of the downtown area. Most of the people were either going somewhere or on their way home. It was safe from the normal ruckus in the main downtown a few streets over.

I was lucky that night, I was just settled down with my two picnic blankets doubled up and my mummy bag inside the other sleeping bag. I had everything else including my shoes stuffed in my rolling backpack and it served as my pillow to keep it safe from thieves. Nothing was stolen from me with that setup.

As I started to fall asleep, a group of people came up on their way home for the night and started talking. I was scared at first, but then they all decided to drop money in the corner by my backpack. I started to get up to thank them, but they had already started staggering home. The money was used to get a room for the next night with food.

This is a thank you letter to whom it may concern, to let them know that they are really appreciated.

Wrong Assignment!

First of all, I am a master of procrastination! I believe the more I procrastinate on doing my chores the more creative I am at writing blogs. For example, today I have been doing some chores at home but just sat down to post a blog. I realized I botched up my last assignment. I was supposed to use the twitter posts provided and embed them in my post.

I did use Twitter and it was a quote I like, but this is what the assignment in the Writing 101 class asked for. I am sorry if this isn’t a long post, but at least it is the right one.

Think!

Sometimes I don’t think about what I’m about to say and then OOOOPPPsss, I have stuck my foot in my mouth. Here is a quote from someone on Twitter:

Think your thoughts through because the decisions you make… make you.

I have had some confusing thoughts and emotions lately so I am going to be a hermit for awhile and iron them out. I need to clean up my thought process, and my house, to get myself back on track.

You might start to notice some gameplay videos from me, my friends, and fellow gamers. I decided that while I am being a hermit I will learn how to blog and play some video games to escape life or have fun.

No one said life is easy or will show you how to live from your previous experiences. I am taking this one step at a time. I am trying to think before I speak. I will also work on thinking before I write, hopefully, the writing class I am taking will help with that.

This is a pretty short blog, but it is to the point. Think before you start expressing yourself because it may change things.

Who Are You Lying To?

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Truth Serum.”

Who Could Use Some Truth Serum?

I have realized some time ago that everyone lies. The problem is some people don’t really know who they are lying to. I think lying to someone about things you are afraid of them knowing is more lying to yourself about how confident you are about it.

Jessup

He thinks that he is awesome and that everyone should just trust everything he says. Although, plenty of things he says is for his own purpose not for the people seeking his advice. He also thinks he understands how people subject to a different class are living a more fulfilling life because they aren’t experiencing the pleasure of having everything they want at the snap of their fingers. It is hard to understand the experience of a class on an economic scale through the eyes of someone else. To walk in someone else’s shoes, you must also change your way of thinking too!

Amos

He thinks that if you say something like people he has experienced in the past you must be lying too. After you have said something to him, he will ask questions that insinuate you are lying and then he will say he isn’t accusing you just asking to better understand the situation. Finally, he will start getting upset whenever the subject is talked about and give sarcastic comments reflecting his disbelief. He will never directly ask if you are lying or if this is true, he will keep the up for years to come. Is he creating a lie to have animosity towards?  Would he love to use this “Truth Serum”?

My thing is that I believe I lie not intentionally because I am afraid to hurt people’s feelings. I know that my feelings should be considered in these circumstances. I am working on not ignoring my feelings when talking to people about myself or the things I do. I do want to hurt anyone else’s feeling, but I must be true to myself. We have an obligation to respect ourselves by not changing who we are to satisfy other people’s thoughts on what we do. Let’s start with asking ourselves, is this the truth or is this what someone else wants to hear.

Blogging on the go!

Crowded in Transit station

I plan to take a trip to see my family for the holidays I decided to take the bus and I arrived at this station excited. I decided while waiting for the bus to blog about what was happening with my business. I talked about how much I had been selling and how the homeless benefits from this. I mentioned what my next plan was and asked for comments on it from my followers. I post it then sit back to watch everyone around me.

This place is full of people going places, some for business and some for pleasure. I suddenly realize that I could go anywhere. I decided to write a list of places I would like to go for pleasure. Once the list was written, I realize that there was more to write about. I could tell a story on my blog about when I traveled on my honeymoon. This place was noisy but seem to help with my writing.

When it was time to get on the bus I looked back and thought to myself that I should try to write more often when I have down time. I could be building a story for a book or posting on a blog. Most importantly, writing can free your mind in any place you are located at. This station can be an inspiration to lots of people.

Issues

Some people have multiple issues that they should consider dangerous to people around them. Most people seek help for some help to put them on a more balanced scale. I have quite a few issues myself. I see a Psychiatrist, counselor, and use other therapeutic sources to help. All that is needed from the people is to first recognize them issues and then start a plan of action.

I know this one guy that has six to eight issues. I believe most of them started from a rough childhood. Unfortunately, it does change that he has them. He loves to hold grudges. He is holding a grudge against his mother from 35 years ago about how she made a promise to give him something for straight A grades. He has never forgiven her. Now it causes a problem every time anyone says they are going to do something and it does happen, even if it doesn’t have anything to do with him or his life. Actually, that can be the cause for most of his other issues like anger and alcoholism. If he would work on one at a time he may be able to feel better about his life.

Today, in the age of technology, we can get help from blogs, vlogs, skype, podcasts, webinars, chat, and much more resources. There isn’t any reason to allow yourself to be depressed or using substance abuse as a device in your life. I think we should all consider the happiness we are missing and work on increasing it.
